1. What are eyelash extensions?
Eyelash extensions are individual synthetic lashes of different lengths, curls and thickness. We do 100% isolation, apply one-by-one to each individual natural lash by using medical grade adhesive. Our stylists are well trained by Sheila Cao, RN, BSN, for proper application to ensure eyelash extensions look and feel completely real. Lash applications is very relaxing and at times puts you to sleep!
2. Can you describe the lash application process?
You will lie down on a comfortable massage bed with your eyes closed and your lower lashes are covered to prevent the top lashes from adhering to the bottom lashes. The eyelash extensions are applied directly to the natural lashes without touching your skin. The eyes should always remain closed while receiving this proceedure. NaturaLashes extensions procedure is very relaxing, non-invasive, painless and is often referred to as “Beauty Sleep”, you then awake to luscious, and more beautiful lashes.
3. How long does it take to apply lash extensions?
The lash extension full set application can take up to 60-90 minutes, depending on the type of lashes you're getting. Lash refills can be done in as little as 45 to 60 minutes.
4. How long do eyelash extensions last?
Lash extensions last through a normal full growth cycle of natural eyelashes, typically six to eight weeks. We recommend to get touch-ups every three to four weeks to maintain a fresh and fuller look.
5. Can I wear mascara?
It is ok to wear water-based mascara. However, mascara will shorten the lifespan of your extensions, cause clumping, and dissolve the adhesive. You can use mascara on your bottom lashes. We recommend to remove all your eye makeup with our foam lash cleanser by using our lash brush.
7. How long do they last?
Lash extensions require touch ups every 3-4 weeks to maintain their fullness. The longivity of your extensions is based upon your natural lash growth cyclem and care. The average human eye naturally sheds approximately 5-7 natural eyelashes per day. It is natural to see shedding of your lash extensions.
8. Can I get my lashes wet?
We recommend to dry your lashes with our nebulizer misting to cure glue and eliminates fumes of the lash adhesive which reduce sensitivities and eliminate allergic reactions from the procedure immediately. It allows you to get your lash extension wet after 4 hours. It is absolutely safe to apply makeup, and exercise immediately.
9. How do I care for my extensions?
* Do not rub, pick, pull, cut or twist your extensions.
* Do not sleep on your lashes.
* Do not use water-proof eye makeup around your eyes
* Gently comb the tips of your extensions with the spoolie brush only as needed to straighten and "fluff" your extensions
* Do not overcomb your extensions , this can cause pulling your lashes.
* Do not use oil-based makeup removers on your extensions, as this will dissolve the adhesive and cause your extensions shed prematurely.
* Get refills every 3 to 4 weeks to maintain the fullness and natural look of your extensions.
* Cleanse your eyelash extensions with our foam cleanser and lash brush at least twice a day
* Do not use lash curler, this will rip your lashes out.
* Wait after 48 hours before tanning beds, extreme heat, saunas, or hot yoga
~~~~Please arrive to your appointment with clean lashes. This allow our stylist have aquadate amount of time to apply lash extensions at max volume. Please arrive extra early to clean your eye makeup if you wear makup.
